3D Data with Carlson Software is a two-day instructor led class covering the complete process of creating 3D surfaces and line work for use with machine control and survey applications. The course covers information to request in the engineers CADD file, working with that CADD file, and converting it to a usable 3D file as well as importing and exporting in Topcon’s 3D office.
GSU-2: Grade Management System Pocket 3D
3D Grade Management System Pocket 3D is a two-day, instructor led class providing students with a working knowledge to set up the construction job site to use GPS for grading and job site layout. This class combines classroom training and in field, real world applications of the Grade Management System.
GSU-3: 3D-MC Machine System Operation
3-D Machine System Operation is a one-day, instructor led, onsite class designed to provide students with a working knowledge of all the applications of the 3D-MC machine control software. There will be a brief classroom session to go over the theory of GNSS and 3D-MC. The majority of the class will be out on the jobsite working with the machine.
GSU-4: Construction Layout – Total Station and Topcon Software
Construction Layout – Total Station and Pocket Layout is a one-day, instructor led class providing students with the working knowledge of Total Stations (Robotic and Manual) and use and function of Topcon Software. This class combines classroom and in field, real world applications of Total Stations and Pocket Layout.
GSU-5: GeoNet RTK Network Setup and Use
GeoNet RTK Network Setup and Use is a one day, instructor led class providing students with a working knowledge of GeoNet’s GNSS Network and how to utilize it to increase productivity. The class will combine both classroom discussion and in field activities.
GSU-6: Customized On-Site Training
Customized On-Site Training is a one or two day, instructor led class providing students with working knowledge of any aspect of construction layout, GPS machine control or data prep that a company requires. GeoShack University will customize a class or series ofclasses to fit your needs at your location.
